Paul has held Director, General Management and Senior Management positions in the telecommunications, health, banking and financial services, energy and government sectors in New Zealand.


As one of the most experienced Human Resources practitioners in NZ, Paul brings a strong employment law background, people management and commercial experience to the Intepeople consultancy team. He has been at the forefront of introducing leading edge organisation change programmes into the corporate world and specialises in working with senior management and Boards of Directors in the areas of executive/management coaching, business strategy, HR strategy, organisation design, restructuring and business performance improvement, mergers and acquisitions, and culture change.

Having been one of the NZ Employers Federations most experienced legal and industrial advocates and having represented many companies in the private and public sector, he has the unique ability to traverse all the various disciplines of HR at both the strategic and operational levels and then weave the people asset strategies into business strategies to ensure there is strong commercial alignment and any outcomes are business focused.

His experience, his focus on business success rather than HR per se, his practical approach and ability to distill complex people issues into simple and practical business solutions is his point of differentiation.
