ER advice

Your employee relations experts

Our specialist ER team is on hand to help you navigate key employment related issues, such as disciplinary processes, personal grievances, and performance management.

All of our ER services are tailor made to your business needs – we are here to provide you with as much, or as little, support as you need.

Disciplinary issues

Dealing with disciplinary issues in the workplace can be tricky. You may have become aware of an incident that could constitute misconduct (serious or otherwise), or you may want to prepare your business by introducing a detailed disciplinary process. Either way, ensuring compliance with a fair procedure will help to mitigate any employer actions that may be viewed as unjustified.

Intepeople’s ER team can offer your business support and guidance depending on your preference for involvement. This could range from providing best practice guidance or drafting template documents to an active involvement in the process, including attendance at disciplinary meetings.

Performance management

When an employee is not doing their job effectively it is important to act quickly so that it does not have an impact on business productivity and performance. We understand that raising performance issues with an employee can be challenging for employers, and that is where Intepeople can assist.

Our team offers guidance and support to managers dealing with underperforming employees. This can range from helping a manager with informal coaching, though to the implementation of a formal performance improvement plan (PiP).
