Karen is an experienced People & Capability practitioner with over 25 years’ experience across Aotearoa and internationally. She is known for her ability to get in, understand what’s needed, and deliver high-quality outcomes that make a real commercial difference.

Experience

Karen has worked across a diverse range of organisations including Citycare Property, Department of Internal Affairs, Selwyn District Council, Lyttelton Port Company, University of Canterbury, Synlait, Warren & Mahoney, and BP. This breadth gives her strong insight into different operating environments and the ability to quickly adapt and add value.

She brings solid experience across organisational change, remuneration, and generalist HR, with a strong focus on doing the detail well. Karen builds trusted relationships with leaders and teams, providing practical advice and support that is grounded in real-world experience.
