Marianne enjoys working with a wide variety of businesses and translating the often complex language of NZ employment legislation into understandable requirements and workable solutions. She guides clients through situations that can be stressful and her calm manner and plain talking ensures that a good outcome is achieved.

EXPERIENCE

Marianne is recognised as one of the most experienced employment relations practitioners in New Zealand, with over 20 years experience in this area of specialisation. She has extensive experience in Senior HR and Employee Relations, Performance Management Systems and Strategic Assessment/HR Audit, Diversity and Policy from her 11 years at Westpac in Health & Safety, Employee Relations, Diversity and Policy. She has been providing HR & ER consulting services since for both local and national clients. Marianne also provides specialist independent capability to companies wanting to get to the heart of serious employment issues or to provide a facts based investigation on serious incidents in the workplace involving employees
Marianne is a highly skilled negotiator and represents both national and local companies in collective wage bargaining forums. Clients enjoy her ‘no nonsense’ approach, her ability to distil complex industrial and employment issues into simple themes and provide practical solutions to resolve difficult workplace issues.
