Christie Horne

Marketing Specialist

Christie plans and coordinates Intepeople’s marketing activity, with a particular focus on our social media accounts. She also provides marketing support to our Talent Partners to ensure their client’s recruitment opportunities are seen by the right people.

With a positive and practical ‘can-do’ attitude, Christie thrives on being busy and is constantly adapting her skillset to keep her finger on the pulse in the ever-changing world of digital marketing.

As a Freelance Marketing Specialist, Christie also supports other local businesses with their marketing, including our partner Health & Safety company, Intesafety.

EXPERIENCE

Christie has a broad marketing and advertising background, beginning her career in Auckland where she gained experience in advertising across a range of clients including Air New Zealand, Pizza Hut and Mercedes Benz. She then took on a ‘dream’ marketing role in Christchurch, where she was responsible for all marketing and promotional activity within Ballantynes’ beauty department.

After returning home to Nelson in 2015, following a temp role with Intepeople, Christie worked as a Marketing Manager for a manufacturing company. Looking for more flexibility and variety in her work, in 2017 she took the leap into full-time freelancing.

Christie has a range of generalist marketing skills, with a keen interest in social media and content marketing.
